TIP OF THE MONTH
Kids love stories. They love telling them and, most of all, they love hearing them. That’s because stories are one of the primary way a kid learns! So if there’s something important you want your kid to understand, don’t think like an adult — think like a kid, and wrap that truth in a story.
RESOURCE OF THE MONTH
Your kid’s use of social media technology impacts their developing identity in a big way. But have you ever talked about that? This month, try out some of the tips in THIS VIDEO. WHAT WE’RE TEACHING
This month we are teaching a four-week series focusing on the Holy Spirit. Click the button below to head over to our Family Ministries Page where you will find more details of what your student will be learning.
TIP OF THE MONTH
As we have expeienced this past year, worship doesn’t only take place at a church service . . . worship could take place at home. And you, as the “worship leader,” just need to be willing to do something that will help your family connect with God, honor God, and remember all that God has done. Apart from music, your family can engage in regular times of prayer, discussion, and reflection. REGARDLESS IF THEY'RE A TODDLER, SCHOOL-AGE CHILD, OR A TEENAGER, here are some ways you can engage in worship as a family.
1. Head over to our Monthly Worship Playlist and spend some time drawing together while you listen.
2. Go on a walk together and talk about what you love most about God.
3. Pick a favorite worship song, grab some playdough, paints, or art supplies, and create while you’re listening. Spend some time afterward reflecting on what the song means to you.
4. Check out this Resource of Worship Station Ideas and complete some as a family.

what we’re teaching
This month we are teaching a four-week series focusing on Easter. Click the button below to head over to our Family Ministries Page where you will find more details of what your student will be learning.
TIP OF THE MONTH
There are a lot of reasons your son or daughter -regardless if they're a toddler, school-age child, or a teenager - might be experiencing disappointment these days, and they need your help to build resilience. So here’s what you can do.
1. Let them feel it.
2. Offer perspective by asking, “I know it hurts, but what can we learn from this?”
3. Share your stories of disappointment to help them see they’re not alone.
4. Assure them they will be okay and that you’re with them.
remember that regardless of how big or small you feel the disappointment is, doesn't mean they don’t feel it’s monumental in their lives. it’s so easy for us as parents to react first and think of our children’s feelings second. try to spend some time this month truly listen to your daughter or son without reacting or solving or trying to mold a certain outcome. you might be surprised at the outcome.
